About Physioswing

Physioswing was founded in 2007 by Christian Lischka and Peter Wright to further develop the ideas of a sound body for golf and the treatment of golf specific injuries.
Peter and Christian met in 2006 after Peter had an injury troubled season and sought the help of Osteopath & Golf Physio Trainer Christian Lischka.

Working to a specially developed individual training plan including flexibility, strength, fitness and diet after a few months the results where not only felt but visible for Peter in the way he addressed the ball and swung the golf club.” I feel so much stronger. “commented Peter.

Enthused by the results they approached elite players from the European Challenge Tour and again where surprised at the complaints and ailments suffered not only by the average golfers but to the elite. They passed on their knowledge and treated several players, nameably Craig Farrelly who was suffering from terrible back pain withdrawing from his 1st tournament. After a 4 week intense work with treatment Craig was able to play and enjoy tournament golf and on his return finished 3rd.
Craig said “Without the help from Physioswing my year was over before it started.”

About TPI

TPI is the world’s leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing.

Since its inception in 2003, TPI has studied thousands of golfers ranging from the top professional tour players to weekend enthusiasts. An incredible amount of data on players of all shapes, sizes, ages, and fitness levels has been gathered during this time. Using this data, TPI discovered how a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible. Additionally, TPI has analyzed how physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury.
